Mmmonday! Rrrrrrraw!
I was craving something sweet the other day (as usual!) but not wanting to load up on sugar and butter. So, I busted out one of my favorite “cookbooks”, Ani’s Raw Food Kitchen and went to work with her recipe for “The Real Cheezecake”. The recipe is super easy and uses all raw vegan ingredients like macadamia nuts, dates, lemon juice and coconut oil. The result is just amazing, and I have witnesses (tasters) who can back me up on this one, maybe they’ll even leave comments on this post?

So, if you’re in the mood to splurge without the guilt, pick up one of Ani’s books. She now has one strictly for desserts called “Ani’s Raw Food Desserts: 85 Easy, Delectable Sweets and Treats”. It is so going on my Christmas list!

I can back you up, Pony. It is AMAZING, and I think I actually prefer it to regular cheesecake!

Ditto that. It’s not too rich, the way normal cheesecake is. And I prefer this crust to gasp any other pie crust.
