WwW: Heir of the dog

For this installment of Wednesdays with Wally, I’ll be featuring an amazing shop in Providence, RI called Heir. I was lucky enough to be personally invited inside by the store’s owner Tyler Doran. I’m sure he took one look at me and could see I’m a sophisticated dog with excellent taste who would not even consider “marking my territory” in such a lovely space. He’s also a dog owner which may have worked in my favor. Here’s a shot of his best friend Gus found on the Heir blog. What a cutie, maybe Gus has a sister!

“Heir offers a broad range of design services in addition to its well-edited collection of antiques, art and uncommon home and personal accessories. Discover one-of-a-kind pieces in a gallery setting that is more downtown art opening than dusty antique store. Industrial furniture is set amidst elegantly worn folk art, striking photography and a rakish assemblage of objects, clothing, and exquisite Amish-made leather goods. See something you’ve never seen before and make it your own.”

I’ve been told on more than one occasion that a top hat and monocle would suit me quite well, so I felt right at home in Heir. Once my blogging turns into a paying gig, I may have to splurge on a few items for the ponies.
